Mostly just puzzled how the satellites are at 162 degrees (for my location) for the 500 dish and at 171 degrees for the 1000+.  Is that due to the additional satellite's locations?
Also as I said, I have significant higher terrain south and east. Is it possible the new dish somehow needs a lower horizon? That doesn't pass the logic test for me, but I thought I'd ask. |
Finally found the satellites. I checked the plumb of the mount and it still looks dead-on for vertical, but my azimuth had to be set about 8 degrees higher than it should for this location.
In any case, all four satellite are now talking to my dish... Thanks for the help guys!
