I just ordered a
Twinhan 1020a Digital Sat TV Tuner PCI Card. I recently had a Direct TV receiver added to a third room in my home. It happens to be my PC Room actually. I would like to watch my Direct TV on my PC via my tuner card if possible. This would save me a little room and I could watch my shows and do my work on my PC simutaniously. This is my problem: I cant seem to find a way to set this up. I tried running a
coaxial cable from my receiver to my TV tuner card and so far its a no go. Seems that I may need to set certain parameters in the software program distributed with the card or possibly need more software or hardware to complete the setup. I'm at the edge of my witts with this and still have seen little if any progress. So far I havent seen a program guide,heard any sound or seen any type of video. This is kinda upsetting seeing as how I have put endless hours into this trying to figure it out. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
