find a C band station, if you can - closest to your highest south sat. Use that to dial in your dish alighment roughly.

THen, switch to Ku band and fine tune your LNBF on your dish once you find a signal there.
You'll find the Ku will be more fussy as far as skew and focal length but once you get something C band will fall into place.

My indicator diamond on the C/Ku pointed down (at 6'oclock).
