Do not give up. Here is the trick:
1. Setting
Stab and Dish Elevation correctly.
2. Move the dish back to 0
3. Replace the lnbf with a DirectTV or DishNetwork.
4. Go to the receiver setting, select Echostar7, make sure the LO set at 11250, use the transponder 12297 H 20000 to tune the dish, once you get lock, peak the dish to get best quality.
5. Scan the transponder. Make sure you only scan this particlar trasponder. If not, you will get ton of channels.
6. Go thru the channels you just scan in to see if you get the NASA channel. The purpose of doing this is to double check the dish gets lock on 119W, not accidently get lock on 110.
7. Replace the
DTV/DN lnbf with your ku lnbf.
8. Use USALS to move the dish to SatMex. Pick an active tranponder on SatMex to peak the dish. If adjustment is needed, only adjust the Dish elevation, do not touch Stab setting.
The trick here is: since the DN signal is very strong, it will be easier for you to locate your true south.
9. Once you get good lock on SatMex, you should get other sats using USALS.
Let us know how things going.
