I'm in the Chicago (Berwyn/Oak Park) area and get Hispasat fine with a 36inch Fortec Dish , I always recommend the bigger dish and only have disruptions when we have heavy thunderstorms.

The fact that you're in a 3 flat may actually help out if you're trying to clear a nearby tree or structure.

My Mom enjoys Hispasat programming , one of her favorite channels is Canarias Intl.
