OK from what he was told by the old satellite dealer he did business with the Motorola was suppose to operate on C and Ku. On the front there is indicators for C or Ku. He could only get
C band on it and the ones he gets now on that are scrambled channels, but only a very few (espn, weather channel, cspan is about all I can remember.) He did get I believe the Good Shepard Channel on it and QVC, shopnbc and HSN. When I looked up what satellites those where broadcasted off of, the new Fortec would not get them. No matter where I went for satellites or transponder I got no signal. We did get galaxy 10r c-band, but could not get galaxy 10r ku-band and we even adjusted the dish alittle more east or west to try and catch something, not even a hint of signal.
