Wow, didn't know that. It's been about 3 years ago, I wanted CCTV 9, which required a Phase III dish so they told me, and they upgraded me for free. Then, later when I bought a DVR, they came in and put in a free 6x8
multiswitch. Anyhow, I don't think OP is a sub yet, cause he talked about switching from cable to
DTV.
Guess they aren't being so generous anymore.
