Here are some points to consider for your
installation.
- The mast has to be 100% plumb and stable.
- Make sure you have no obstacles surrounding the antenna location such as tall trees or buildings, you need a clear view of your south.
- Install the motor parked at X or center and align to your true south in reference to your compass.
- Your LNB SKEW should be at 0° in reference to your antenna at center; this will help to have a good SKEW on all satellites.
- Setup coordinates in USALS and now move the antenna to the satellite close to your true south.
- Make sure you have the correct frequency per the LNB specifications.
- Always have a meter in line.
- Adjust your AZIMUTH, ELEVATION and DECLINATION to get the best possible signal quality on the satellite close to your true south.
- Once optimized you have to make the antenna travel from east to west to confirm you have a good curve. If you don't see the satellites on east and west ends you may have to readjust your declination.
