Hi I'm new to FTA. I have a
motorized system. The M2 system with the Fortec
Dish,
Mercury II
Classic receiver. The Power Tech DG-240 Motor. ULN1 LNBF
I have a compass the problem with it. Its going crazy from the Hi voltage lines. It moves around alot. I mounted this on a tower. It is plump.
I live at N41.44.225 W087.42.733 Chicago Il 60652
Is there alternate way of finding true south.
Could I use a satellite to help like 87W or 89W?
I have a finder I set it to a peak. Receiver show < 10.
Is there any magic? Ideas ? Something I missed?
