There is no reason for using the invacom lnbf if you are only using 1 receiver. You do not need a DiSEqC switch as you will only be using 1 of the L ports. Providing I know what lnbf you are attempting to describe. As to general knowledge the DiSEqC switch should be mounted between the lnbf and the motor. Mine is actually at the bottom of the pole (15') with coax running down to it and then back up again to the motor.
