I never have any problem with 12080H channels, but during the day, the 2 channels on 12090V constantly break up and a lot of times just not watchable. But at night times say after 6:00pm, they will be fine. Any clue why? My location is Austin, TX.
Both have good signal level, but I noticed 12090V has lesser signal quality that 12080H by 10 "unit" or so, day or night. Do I need a bigger dish? Or better LNBF? Or SatMex 6 is having broadcast issue.?

I usually don't watch this during the day. The problem could be weather related so a bigger dish can help. I find no difference between LNB 3 vs 4 Ku. You can try to optimize your dish as much as possible. If you have a stationary setup. Try this. Make sure your LNB is push as far away from the dish as possible. Turn your LNB slightly to the left and right while someone is watching the signal strength. You should be able to peak it around 60%. Make sure your pole is in solid, no wiggle room. Use RG6 cable. Use the best connectors (satellite grade) no the regular ones for cable tv. Make sure no trees or other obstruction is in the way.
