The G-box V-3000 is a real nice peice, i like it alot, an it is alot nicer than the motecII that i have on another dish set up, so very nice buy Tha you wont be sorry at all when you get it going.

but now getting to your problem, the V-3000 is made to work with a reed switch an you dont have a reed switch. what you got is a optic sensor, an you will either try to rig up a powers supply to run it (5-volts dc is needed) an hope that it is good an working optic. or what i would do is replace it an put a reed in its place with a magnet wheel. that would be easyer an better cause had alot of problems with optic sensors tru out my time...
