Question low-cost spectrum analyzers

I've been spoiled by always being able to borrow a spectrum analyzer to dish setups. They really beat the heck out of any other tool that i've seen.

There used to be quite a few low-cost analyzers on the market back in the analog/CRT days, but I can't find them. Does anyone have a pointer to an analyzer that can handle FTA IF frequencies? I'm thinking I want to own my own.

BTW, I would NEVER buy any piece of test equipment unless I had access to the user manual first. I used to work for Tektronix, and this is one thing that set us apart from the competition. If you can, please provide a link to any documentation (not a sales glossy)

Thanks,

Al
