Setting up H-H mount is a bit tricky but doable. USALS feature is extremely useful. Few things to make sure:
1. Correct LO: I assume that you get the package here, so lnbf is universal. Set LO as follow: Low 9750, High 10600
2. Make sure you use active transponders when tuning the dish. For SatMex: http://www.lyngsat.com/sm5.shtml, use Ku transponder 19 (12080, H, SR 25635)
3. When using USALS, double check the Lat and Long. They must be correct. Or else the dish will miss the other sats.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here. We will try to help you out.

I am in orange county so thanks for that magnetic deviation info...I estimated it was at 15 from the chart.

I am new to FTA and the only dish experience I had was with a subscription network but I did set up my own dish then.

Learning about the this stuff is interesting to me and I am anxious to see if I can line up that dish on the arc correctly. Sounds pretty cool if it works..

Maybe we can exchange info when you get your stuff.

I read that lining up the Fortec is not that easy but I think with the Motor and USALS the trick is making sure you have true south lined up to begin with.

Keep me informed...I get my equipment next week.
