I am going with a 36 inch fortec dish and the Stabb 100 motor.
I am in orange county so thanks for that magnetic deviation info...I estimated it was at 15 from the chart.
I am new to FTA and the only dish experience I had was with a subscription network but I did set up my own dish then.
Learning about the this stuff is interesting to me and I am anxious to see if I can line up that dish on the arc correctly. Sounds pretty cool if it works..
Maybe we can exchange info when you get your stuff.
I read that lining up the Fortec is not that easy but I think with the Motor and USALS the trick is making sure you have true south lined up to begin with.
Keep me informed...I get my equipment next week.
