Any games that require fast response times, such as racing games, war games, etc. are going to be really frustrating with satellite internet. The latency will kill you.

With satellite, never EXPECT to get what they offer. For example, with HughesNet, I generally tell people to expect about 50%to 60% of what they publish. Remember the number they give is an "up to" number. If you have the 1500 down plan, you should expect to get around 800k down speed. Sometimes it will be worse, and at 1:00 in the morning it will be better.
