If you are an amateur radio operator, you may put up a tower. You could build a tower, put an amateur radio antenna atop it, then put your sat dish(es) on it.

If you are near an airport, FAA may require the structure be registered and perhaps lighted or painted.

FCC OTARD rules permit masts of upto 12' and dishes up to 1m.


I'd suggest forestry to the outgoing land owner.
