Here are the steps I have taken to upload the firmware: 1: Open S/W Loader V0.98. 2: Click on "Download" on the loader. 3: Click "20070716_MERCURY2_V0153" that I saved to my desktop. 4: Click "Open". Then, it reads "Invalid File". I assume it reads "Invalid File", because a media player I use to play DVD's tries to open it (I use VLC Media Player). What kind of program should I use to associate with the 1.53 firmware so I can upload it into my Mercury II? Thanks for the help.
You will need winzip installed on your computer as the Fortec downloads are in zip file format.
