My audio system does not have a digital audio interface (an old Yamaha receiver with special 2-ohm impedence to drive 2-ohm KEF speakers). I forgot about the audio interface (w/ RCA connector) behind the
Mercury II and receiver. I think it will work fine without having a stand alone splitter box.
