Many thanks for the note. I was specific about outside parts vs. receivers since the receivers are intended for inside use only. I read a thread sometime back about someone trying to set up a system with the receiver outside on a cold day. not a pretty sight.
I have to admit that I tried the same thing with the same results last winter in northern Pennsylvania. doh!
I had a misbehaving H-H motor that would drive to limit when the temp got too low. (
Not from
Sadoun). A little investigation and I determined that it was a warranty failure "repackaged" by an unscrupulous Ebay dealer.
I'm still interested if anyone has experience with ANY outside parts. This is all good stuff, and I tend to have friends that live and work in strange places
