Rainman's idea should work. Another idea to buy a stand alone splitter box. I brought one for my mom from WalMart. It allows you to convert a cable signal into individual video and audio components, ie red, white, yellow output. This way, you could feed the radio directly from the satellite receiver through the converter box. If my memory serves me right, they are about $14.
