Will I be able to get satellites...Galaxy 10R which has the "Outdoor Channel", and G23 (the old T7 label) with "The Sportsman Channel on this smaller dish, other than my 10' BUD?
I know I can buy a MPEG-2 DVB receiver and slave it to my DSR922. But, there's a small problem. The wife may have the DSR922 set on G5 satellite, and I may want to see the Sportsman channel on G23... With that, we all can see to gets control of the remote control, and a flip of the coin to see who watches what.
Is the Fortec Star Mercury II one in same as a MPEG-2 DVB receiver?

unfortunately that won't work as you will need a big dish to receive the sportsman channel and the outdoor channels as they are both on c band.
so I guest it's a flip of the coin for the remote.
