Tim: I have to agree with WeJones, that that style is not what i installed years ago when prime star was up an running, an even seen changes to their lnbs going from only 1 polarity to 2 poloritys (vert & horz), an even at the end of their life befor direct tv bought them , they went to lnb-f, but all the lnbs that i dealt with was a can type, almost the same as a Glob-Cast lnb-f. but was thinking back then you could buy those dishes for almost nothing, (just like Alpa-Star) from different dealers, an if their was some satellite shop installing them for some of the early mpeg signals, in your area, an that may be why that you have that type of lnb. they may have bought the prime star dishes an had or bought lnbs from some where that fit the prime star lnb mount, an put a package together for people in your area. an tru out all my years of dealing with lnas, down converters, lnbs, an lnb-fs, havent seen that style that you posted picture of. but it will be nice to know what that lnb was used for an for what purpuse it was used. good luck with it Tim: Captain
