Well, I may have this backward again, but I think the BSC621-2 has a universal lnb on Ku, which uses 22khz, and it has an internal diseqC switch that switches between the 2 bands, while the BSC621 has a standard ku lnb, and a 22khz internal switch.
Therefore, I see no problem with using a diseqC switch with the BSC621, however I think there would be a potential problem with using an external switch with the 621-2, because the 621-2 has both 22khz and diseqC switches internal already. You can isolate the Ku portion of the 621-2 from the internal switch, but I don't think you can isolate the C-band side. You might be able to get it to work, but I think there are potential problems.
