"Universal" ku lnbf can pull in both ku low and high band. It's very popular in Europe since the satellites over there also carry low band freq. In N.America, our domestic satellites don't use "low" band freq at all.
Back to you question, you should not have any problem using
BirDog or Satloc for your work. Starband, SkyWay and DirecWay use linear lnbf. Directv and DishNetwork use circular lnbf. Birdog support both linear and circular.
Hope this help.

I'm mostly concerned with the Skyway; the others I know will work with the BirDog with the downloaded software. Also, from what little I can gather it looks like the software is easier to download an install on the BirDog. On the other hand, the Satloc looks a bit more ergonomically friendly for standing on a ladder.
Anyone have knowledge and/or comment on any of the above, or other comparison / recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
