The blurb for the
BirDog says that it will not work with "universal" LNBs. I install Starband, DirecTV, Dish, and Skyway, and soon DirecWay, but do not know what a"universal" vs a 'standard' LNB is. Can anyone explain?
I'm mostly concerned with the Skyway; the others I know will work with the BirDog with the downloaded software. Also, from what little I can gather it looks like the software is easier to download an install on the BirDog. On the other hand, the Satloc looks a bit more ergonomically friendly for standing on a ladder.
Anyone have knowledge and/or comment on any of the above, or other comparison / recommendations?
