Yup; I managed to fry an SW44 multiswitch last week by using defective splitters - even though one leg was supposedly DC blocked. I had two SW44s running in tandem for 8 receivers and the cheapo splitters leaked DC and took out one of the switches - and those DishNet SW44s are not cheap !!!
