1. I recommend to use a DC blocker since it blocks DC from both side. It's only $2/each. We really don't know how good "regular" spliter isolate DC, what happen if the DC from the 1 receiver also leaks to the 2nd port and pass to the 2nd receiver? Again, just my opinion.
2. Regular splitters (at Rat Shack) are not designed from signal satellite (5-2050mhz), read the specs before you buy them. Using a wrong one might cause you not to get all the channels.

I have 3 receivers run through an ABC switch to an amplifier connected with the anteanne and run to the back bedroom. You can switch between any of them in the back room and any of them in the front room at the same time.
