Sounds like one more reason not to go with Dishnet. If I got a call from a sat company like that, I'd just hang up on them. I'd rather have no TV than an invasion of privacy like that. Even though
DTV is not much better, I'd switch to DTV. From what I have seen, they don't do anything like that, and there would be no problem for me to put one of my receivers in another location, if I had another location.
