Oh, I didn't know that. I thought you could still buy them new. Seems like the 905 and 922 came out about the same time. When I bought my 4200, only the 920 was available. I would have considered a sidecar if they were made then, but they weren't, so I got the 4200. Later, they came out with the 905 and 922. But re batteries, I'd bet the batteries would outlast DCII. One of my 4200s predates the 905s by several years, and it's battery is still good, the other newer one, I had the battery changed out just to be sure, but only because I had it in for another repair. I think it only costs about $60 to have the battery replaced in a 905.
