I think if I were interested in subscribing to DCII stuff, I'd prefer a 905 sidecar to a 922, of course this requires a separate analog receiver. But for the money, I think you get more capability with a good analog receiver and a sidecar. Particularly if the subscription DCII stuff goes away, along with the channel maps and stuff, I think you'd be able to get more use out of the generic analog/sidecar combination. Just my personal preference, and I know that many people would prefer an all in one solution, but I think that the 905/analog combination definitely "compares" to a 922.
