Like Rainman I have been "playing" with dishes for quite sometime now. Early to mid 90's at least. Over time I have learned enough to be able to watch a "professional" and actually know what they did correct or incorrect.
Not quite to the level of tree dishes yet though LOL. For most all here this is a hobby. We all have our reasons but I think one of the main ones is freedom. Cable and little dish remove the freedom of programming choices available with a big dish system. I know we are talking about small dish systems here but they spawned from our big dishes.
