I would probably recommend buying a MercuryII from
Sadoun. It has blind scan &
AC3 pass through. It is fairly easy to setup. Once you have it installed and use it for awhile you will learn about the receivers and different features. At that point you can make a decision as to what receiver you desire to buy. It really is based all on what features you desire coupled with your working knowledge.
