Hi Jcraft- yes it can be done i have did about 5 or 6 of em longest was about 495 ft, an they were c-band and 2 where c&ku-band, and dont know what kind of dish you are plannig? you will need to up grade youre coax, and wire going that far.now on the longest 1 i did that customer wanted c&ku so i ran 2 feeds of 500 hard line to the dish, with a pedastall box at about the 1/2 way out. and be prepaired to spend a lot of $ to do it. good luck Captain
