Answers
1. NO, Direct TV dish is too small
2. Point to either 95W, 97W or 113W for chinese channels
3. No, do not point to direct tv unless you want to pay them for the same chinese channels you can get for free from other satellites.
4. No codes needed for FTA
5. You need a new dish, 90 cm and new lnb (linear) not circular for FTA.
6. Yes, there are 3 satellites that offer free chinese channels, located at 95W, 97W and 113W. If you don't have a motor, I would recommend you aim your dish at 113W for the most free chinese channels.

BTW, I am not familiar with that receiver, may or may not work.
