Bringing up an old topic here I know, but in past years, the Azteca channels on IA6(G26) carried NFL games every week, and since they encrypted on G26, I had been curious which of the two remaining FTA Azteca channels might be the same channel that had the NFL game of the week.
First 2 weeks of the season, I was on other sats watching
HD feeds, but this week my team isn't available via those feeds, so I just went looking for the 2 Azteca feeds. I went to G23, and unfortunately those Azteca channels are now scrambled.
I went over to SM6, and those channels are still FTA. However, I'm betting that these SM6 channels won't have the NFL games on them though, as I'm still convinced that the channel that was on IA6 is one of those that scrambled on G23. I'm thinking that the only hope might be the Azteca HD feed that someone found on G26 (although it was never HD when I tuned it in). Not very optimistic though, as the NFL seems to be going after FTA channels carrying their games.
Luckily, I do subscribe to Sunday Ticket, however I like to find free versions of the game. The past few years, at least 75% of the games I've looked for have been available free on sat, but I'm guessing that percentage is going down this year. (That 75% was helped by the fact that I'm looking for AFC games.)
