Re things changing "by the hour", I know that they've been moving sats around a bit, and I'm not sure exactly when AMC9 went to 83, but I think it was about 3 years ago... not exactly that recent.
That page also designates DVB signals as being DCII among it's many many errors.
EDIT: Looks like AMC9 moved from 85 to 83 around Feb 2005 . Of course that doesn't mean anything about what the 4DTV might call that slot, but I still see 4DTV charts listing W9 as being AMC9.
Would be interesting to learn what all the signals on the
C-band side of AMC9 are. I checked one, ie one at 4180, and it has an SR of 30000, exactly, yet I can't lock it, so it must be 8PSK or some data format.
