There are about 15 free TV channels on AMC4 Ku. Most are oriental. There are also two radio stations that are free right now: BCC News and AFN Iran radio.
They are listed as encrypted but are FTA right now. Do a search including encrypted channels on:
Ideally you should have a motorized dish to take advantage of all the Chinese channels available; they change satellites from time to time and this is why a moveable (motorized) dish is so groovy.
You should get AMC4 if you have a clear view. I read another post, you plan to get T5 and G3C using 2 dishes. Since you are interested in some channels on AMC4, I recommend to get a H-H mount which can be used to move the dish.
