DSR922 Remote

My remote started doing strange things. First lost the TV code and still have not got it back. Another is when you hit off it scanned through all 4 settings and turned everything off. No longer does that either. Still works fine for the DSR922 but no longer works as a universal remote. Any ideas? Is there a way to reset the remote?

usually when my remotes start acting up I take them apart and clean all the button contacts with alcohol and Q tips seems to work ok untill they get dirty again. and no kat it's not the drinking kind.LOL
