I would say yes it should be suffecient.
The Heavy Duty will be 20-30% faster when moving the dish.

may be worth the extra money for the extra speed.

I'm a bit confused re where the extra speed is coming from, ie a different number of threads per inch in the screw, or more efficient motor, etc, etc? Looking at the specs, the HD model uses less current, making me think it must be geared lower and slower, but maybe the motor is more efficient. If gear ratio, I used to read posts from people with some brand of actuator, who were complaining about a trade-off with respect to speed, in that their actuator was geared faster, which resulted in fewer pulse counts, which meant poor resolution when trying to peak on a sat, since one pulse click might take you past the peak. Ie in some respects slower might be better.
Also interesting that it says that there is both a 36V and 24V version. Most of these actuators will work fine on any voltage, ie I used to run mine manually with a 12V car battery. It just runs slower on 12V. But for the same reason as above, I'm wondering if the gear ratio is different in the 24V version, in order to make them faster?
I assume, due to the low volume likely, that Sadoun will only have the 36V version, and I also assume that for the same reason, the "mini" versions won't be available. Those MINI actuators look interesting, for other applications.

I got the speed numbers from the speed graph on the bottom/left
http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/S/HV-...-Actuatore.htm
At full load, it seems both HV and TD models have the same speed according to the spec.
We are importing the 36V version only.
What application you have in mind for the mini?

Nothing that I'm currently in to, but several years ago, when there were a couple inclined sats up there, I was thinking about installing a declination actuator on my big dishl The big actuators just looked too big and bulky for a application that only required an inch or so of travel at most, but those little things would seem to be ideal.
Also, years ago, I used to be into AMSAT and NOAA LEO sat reception, which required tracking AZ/EL. You can do the AZ with any TV rotor, but the EL is complicated. You either need a VERY expensive rotor or find a cheap rotor that has a shaft clear through. I used a cheap rotor, but water gets into them when you mount them sideways, so they don't last. Those little 6" to 12" motors look to be small enough to mount on top of a rotating mast, and should be ideal.
Other than that, just about anything you want to move remotely. I was even thinking that I could use one of those to lift the motor on my pontoon boat (I bought a motor that doesn't have a power tilt, and I have to climb over the back of my boat to lift the motor when I get into shallow water). Retrofitting a stock power tilt thing is quite expensive, but I think it could be done cheaply with one of these little actuators.
I'm sure that there are lots of other possibilities, like moving a remote camera or extending awnings or opening windows, etc.

Yep, I see you point. I guess we can start a thread and call it "1001 uses of a mini actuator"

Curious Sadoun, Do you have the polar mount for the Fortec Star 6 and 8 foot dishes? I saw the Motek HH 180, but I'm trying to talk the wife into a 8 foot dish and as I've stated in other threads, that pretty white dish passes the wife test.

No we don't carry it. If anyone know of a decent polar mount that we should carry, PM me.
