Hispasat satellite

I have a 10 foot mesh dish with a c/ku feedhorn and 36 inch motor.
I have programmed all the US satellites into my 4DTV receiver.
I am trying to find Hisposat located at 30 degrees west.
Can I use this dish and 4DTV receiver to find this satellite ?
Thanks for any help,
Johnny

950-1450 MHZ but I can\'t get any signal on Telstar5 at my location in Miami. I have my elevation set to 54.5 and 214 on the azimuth and I\'ve also tried changing LNBF frequency from universal 1 and universal 2 on my pansat 2500A
fta receiver...

I do not remember any DCII feed on that sat. My dish will not go that far because of trees. I am using a small Ku dish for that sat tied to a FTA DVB MPEG2 receiver. If lyngsat shows any DCII feeds and they are readable by the 922 I see no reason why it would not get them.

What specifically are you trying to get view on that sat?

I assume you're intending to slave your Pansat to get DVB signals.
That sat should be easily within your reach, if you had a H-H mount, ie see:

, HOWEVER, even assuming that you have enough range on your actuator, which is questionable, it would mean running your dish considerably past due south to the east, and actuators don't behave very well when you go past the high point. At best, you'll probably find that you'd lose counts and have to re-sync every time you went there, and at worst, your dish could jam against the actuator, or could get stuck or even let loose and flop over, although this is rare. You'll probably have to extend the east limits on your IRD also.
GIve it a try, but keep a close eye on the dish when going east, to make sure it doesn't bind. I could get that far with my H-H (before the trees got too high), but I used to live in Md, and wasn't able to go that far with an actuator.
You'd probably have an easier time with your 33" dish.
