CCTV 4 Scrambled for Good?

I think its been a week now, but has CCTV4 been scrambled forever? I get CCTV9 just fine.

Any news from someone who might know whats going on.

It is a shame that a government station like CCTV4, which most of the Chinese living abroad rely on for news and entertainment, would get scrambled. If it was a commercial station, that would be understandable. Plus CCTV4 all around the world is free, why not in NA?

I hope they will change their mind and change it to FTA again.

BTW, CCTV4 is available by subscription on DishNetwork.

Yes your absoultly correct. You would think the Chinese government would want to inform their people abroad; now instead my chinese inlaws are watching American Programming and are starting to think more and more like Americans, which can't be good for the Chinese government.
If the Chinese government was smart they would put it back on the air so they can maintain some type of link to their people.

BTW...CCTV4 is very expensive when ordering through DishNetwork.
