Music Choice on Galaxy 14 at 125.0°W for 4dtv

Can anyone explain why Lyngsat lists a bunch of Music Choice channels as free on 4dtv, yet they simlply don't show up on our giude? How are we supposed to tune these in? Are we supposed to do some sort of audio scan? They are on TP 2 and TP 10. :mozilla_frown:

Motorola is not allowed to map them, music choice does not want us to have there channels just like many other programmers

Many years ago in the begining of 4dtv those channels where mapped though music choice had Motorola remove them asap.

Thanks tdti1, hey your setup looks a lot like ours except we have the Fortec Platinum with CI and I could tell you our LNBs any more. Hey 5 brain cells, 6 things to remember. Something's gotta give. Our LNBs are very low noise, but not the highly stable type they say is best for digital. We got them because they fit onto our Chaperal corotor. We were thinking of going PLL but need to research if they'll fit onto the corotor. We do get the HD channels well, and the only ones we have problems with are on G1 where 160 changes to 165. They have the same program but 165 is stronger than 160. And BTW, Lyngsat doesn't even show a channel 160. They are both Encore East, but 165 is stronger than 160.

Ya for some reason Starz has that channel on two different transponders, the one with the lower quality is on transponder 3 along with the rest of the Encore channels and the 4dtv IPG.

My lnb's are not that great, I will be upgrading to the C-band 8115 and Ku-band 4106A Norsat's later this year, those are great lnb's and will lock nearly any feed up there, over kill for 4dtv but some of the best lnb's for dvb.
