Using Primestar Dish for X4

Asked this question on a couple of forums so perhaps I'll get an answer eventually. CAN one setup a 922 to use as BUD for the C-band 4DTV channels and a P*star dish for X-4?. Trying to use just the Vertical side of the Pstar now. Gets a signal but too weak for lock. Strange thing is, I can use the Pstar to get good analog feeds on an old 350i Analog receiver on X3...

Missed out on the last deal for an inexpensive C-KU feedhorn (25 bux with lnbs..Darn!) and can't afford a new C/KU right now so unless someone knows of a way to mount and USE a KU-LNBF on the scaler ring (I'd have to go in and change dish setup on the 922 probably each time I went from C-LNB to KU-lnbf) I'll have to do without my OLN, Speed, and other X-4 feeds.

If you want, email me at therage@netzero.net with a private answer.
Thanks..

PS..If there's an inexpensive KU-lnbf that'll work with Primefocus OR even an Invacom let me know..Thanks ahead of time
Bryan

So long as you can get a good enough signal (shouldn't be an issue), I'd think it'd work fine.

It would make life easier if you used a standard LNB as that it likely the L.O. that the 4DTV is setup to use.

The 'Xtreme' or 'Xtreme II' LNBs are inexpensive, Standard 10750 LO LNBs, and have been getting rave reviews.

The Quad Polar Invacom would also work nice but it's kind of overkill for your purposes.

Were you looking to use the Primestar feedhorn or did you want to just strap a 'regular' LNB on the dish?
