Contact SRL and let them know, maybe they can put an add in the local paper over there if they provide the package:

"Hopefully that compa˜˜ias soon decides to sell the channels in Spanish for 4dtv. In the Oregon state it has near 400 Hispanics. comañias do not lose that market. The Mexican"

rough translation.. the Mexican hopes that companies decide to sell spanish chanels on 4dtv, because there are nearly 400 hispanics in his area of Oregon and they might louse the market to another service.

Most of the digital channels will switch language to Espanol without a separate subscription package. That is why the channels marked Espanol are disappearing. I market primarily to Hispanic market here in Indiana as the DSS systems really rake them over the coals for Espanol. All the movie channels permit changing the language BUT you must be on the digital side of life. Analog will not switch. Once you become more proficient you can play with your audio settings and catch secondary signals.

I have set up FOX feeds and others in Espanol by simply changing the audio settings. NOT in the "dummy box" but actually letting the receiver search for alternate audio signal. If you can catch a program prior to airing it will many times give the settings for L and R which helps a great deal Now just teach your customers how to use their equipment and all is good.

Hope this helped a little

Steve

Not all channels can be changed, it's mostly the movie channels that have both languages, the broadcasters have the spanish and english channels, and like the package from SRL you are getting the Spanish only feeds.

While true not ALL channels can be changed any channel that produces a secondary audio signal can be changed. It usually must be done manually. I will look tonight and send the standard entries for your Motorola receiver with instructs on how to alter to receive these secondary audio signals.

Again the "dummy box" that simply states secondary or spanish does not work in any application other than the movie channels. I am talking about actually altering the what I guess is freq that the audio comes in on. I am thinking switch left to 5.8 and that might be a start BUT your Motorola receiver will search for other audio transmissions just ask it to.

Ok actually had a chance to look at the Motorola receiver this weekend. IF THE CHANNEL IS NOT A DIGICIPHERII CHANNEL your receiver will allow you to alter the incoming audio settings. It also gives you the option to search out these signals. Menu ->6->3(I think) says audio settings.

If the channel is a DigicipherII channel you are stuck with what it is. You can alter between Mono, Stereo, Surround and Dolby Digital. Most likely change language if available.

On a seperate note. Lyngsat shows Galavision as clear on M5 with a DigicipherII encoding. Is anyone getting this channel? I can not seem to find it with my Motorola receiver.

Yes there are, well was many analog channels and wildfeeds that you can change to Spanish, I use to watch Cops and if my pops was around I changed the audio freq and Spanish was there, it worked on many feeds, though have not done it in a few years.
