Newbie Question On C-Band

Hi,

I have an ultrasat receiver and a 30" Fortecstar Dish. My question is what is the least diameter amount needed for a C-band Dish and could I use my Ultrasat receiver to pick up C-band as well or do I need to get a C-band receiver?

Thanks Ben

You would need at least a 6 foot C-band dish; maybe a 5 footer would work.

For proper reception never go smaller than 8.5' a 10' is the perfect choice.

I run a 6 foot and a 10 foot dish and both work well but I am over a mile high. if you are in the lower altitudes bigger then 6 foot is better but you can get away with it.
