4dtv & c-band lnbf

I have a 4dtv and a 6' dish. I recently bought a 13k lnbf for c-band. I can't get it to work, I've switched the 4dtv's options to a c-band lnbf and it seemed to make it worse. If anyone has an idea how to get this to work please let me know. I have this week off from work and would love to get it figured out. Also, if anyone knows, when there are new digicipher channels like the mux on g3 http://www.lyngsat.com/g3c.html how do I program them into my 4dtv. They don't show up when I go there. Thanks everyone!

The mux on Galaxy-3C is not mapped into the 4dtv, unless Motorola gets permision to do this it will not be mapped.

First of all you dish is far to small for proper C-band reception, 8.5' is the minimum now due to 2 degree spacing, and a lnbf is not really best for a big dish in my opinion, I would go with a c/ku feedhrn and two lnb's, look around for a larger dish 10' is best grab it and replace you dish, since your off its the best time to do so, if you need parts or help, maybe a dealer is near you:

Good luck.

Okay well if it is like most C-band LNBF, they are 13 /18 volt controlled for H/V and the normal Cband slew controll18 to 24 volts. so if your 4DTV unit can output the 13/18 then use that. As to the 6 foot dish it is small for most of the US I run both a 6 and 10 foot dish but I am over a mile high. You still should be able to pull in some signal so you can tell if your dish aim is on target with the arc.
