Why can't I get CCTV on G3C?

I've got a lock on the Galaxy 3C satellite, with level and quality of 82%, but when I try to watch CCTV-4 or CCTV-9, it tells me that I have a scrambled or bad channel. What's going on here?

12-Plus New Channels Available FTA

Chao Wang...ni how?
There are 12+ FTA Chinese channels available on Echo 9 at 121 west, CCTV, Hunan, etc. My wife is hooked on several of the serial series shows.
You'll need a larger dish, possibly a 90cm size depending upon your location, as well as a linear LNB to pick up standard FTA transponders. Give it a try. If you subscribe to DISH, there are also another additional 28 or so Asian (Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan) channels under the "International" package that DISH offers. Hope this will help you out.

Shay-shay nee!!
