Greatwall platform

Anyone know something abou the GreatWall platform? I heard it starts on Oct. 1. Donot know which bird will carry it.

My guess is those channels now on 121 W are part of the GreatWall
platform program. Eventually, Dishnetwork will encrypt them and
make another Chinese program package opening to the public.
Enjoy it while it is free now. Who knows how long it will be there as FTA.

CCTV 4 said last night, they will be offering 16 chinese channel in Northern American starting OCT. 1. This may imply they will stoy FTA on 121W soon.

I called dishnetwork. I will told they will offer the GreatWall Platform package starting Sept. 30th. It's 29.99/month. This probably means the channels will be encrpted then after.

By the way I am having trouble in aiming at 121. Signal strength is 66% Max. Quality is 0. Any one is geting the the bird from Maryland.

Hi,
I am living in Houston and the Satellite is easy to find. In fact the signal is pretty strong with quality level locked at 85 without any problem. Comparing to Chinese programs aired on G13/H1, this package is better in terms of both Audio and Video. I enjoy watching them.

This satellite is a lot of easier to aim at than G13/H1. I am also living in houston. The trick is using one of the Dishnetworks's strong TP to tune for the signal quality, though you can't really watch those channels.

I will be subscribing DN for this greatwall program.

i can not get in on 127 bird.i scanne it with right feq & SYS.I got signal but not working.why?
