Why there is no free-to-air channel

from G13H1. I did set Transponder (TP) at 11720H26.800 and got the signal level about 75% and the Quality over 70%. Did I line the dish to other satellite, then how can I get signal quality? Any suggection is appreciated.

Those channels should be FTA; although I have not tried to get them.

What kind of receiver are you using? What happens when you search the transponder? Do any channels come in? You have the transponder data correct:

11,720
HOR
26,800

Did you scan "ALL CHANNELS" or "FTA ONLY"? Try scanning "ALL CHANNELS"

Be Sure You Are Using A Standard (Linear) LNBF For G13/H1

There are about 12 Chinese/Taiwanese channels on G13/H1 that are all FTA. You need a standard or universal LNBF, NOT a Dish or Direct TV LNBF. Shay-shay nee

Thank you all for the responses.

I am using Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra receiver and its universal LNBF. I cann't find any FTA channel if I do FTA search. I can find over 100 hundred channels in doing the ALL Search.

I called the manufacturer in Canada. I was told I should be able to get the channels. Does anybody know why?

What channels are you getting? Do they jive with lyngsat? Perhaps you are on the wrong satellite.

I might be on a wrong satellite. but how I can get all the channel signal with the Transponder frequency. I also search arround with that TP. and could not find another one.
By the way, I got following channels:
BRAVO, FUSE, ANIML, G4TTV, CRDEX, COURT, CNNFN, HBO-E, SPORT, GLVSN, TV7091, TV7093.........TV7891.

You are pointing to one of the Echostar satellites nearby.

OK. That encourages me to search more.
But I still don't understand why the Echostar uses the same Transponder Frequency.

ooops,
That's very strange.

First, the channels on G13/H1 are indeed FTA, I am using Fortec Star reciever too, got them by search FTA .

And there are only 10-15 channels on that TP. if you got 100 more, that must be wrong.

You may aim at a different bird? Or you searched wrong sat?

The signal is pretty strong, you should get > 85% quanlity easily if there were no blocking trees.
